Gratitude Lately

One of my favorite blogs is Today's Letters
and the author does Gratitude Lately posts.
I love this idea
With my schedule being crazy lately,
with planning for a wedding that is happening in less than 3 months
taking 15 hours at school this semester
Chi Alpha
and church
I have a lot going on.
So I want to do a Gratitude Lately post.
I am grateful for a beautiful venue for my wedding!

I am so grateful for my wonderful sister and Maid of Honor for always being there for me and I look up to her faith with God so much everyday.
I am grateful for my Husband to be Mr. Hobbs.  He takes such good care of me and is going to be an amazing husband.

Starbucks Coffee, yes it is expensive and maybe not good for you but man it does make you feel better on a rough day.

There are many more things I am grateful for but it you make this a very long blog post,
so I will leave it short this time

Love,

Summer, Where Are You?

Well turns out here is Missouri we are expected to in the next few days get ice, sleet and snow.
I used to be a winter girl but this year I want spring and summer to get here!
In 3 months I am going to marry the love of my life.
I CAN'T WAIT
but the bad thing is...
he got the crappy noon till 1:30 AM shift at his job.
And that leaves me ALONE every night!
yes ALONE
so I am setting some goals for myself this summer.
  1. Spend more time with girl friends. Make the time and do something fun and grow your relationships with them.
  2. Get mine (and Mr. Hobbs) apartment in order! Maybe do some crafts and sewing to make the place more of mine and his style.
  3. Learn to play the violin! Yes I have always wanted to learn but never had the time so maybe this summer it is time :)
So maybe this summer could be fun even though I won't see my husband every night :(
You always have to make the best of every situation!

100 Days

I am getting MARRIED in 100 Days!
I can not believe it, that is three months and ten days.
1. I am super excited!
2. I am super nervous and kind of scared.
3. I have so much to do! AHHHHH
4. I kind of want it to be here so we can move on to being married.
5. I can't wait to see all my friends from far away.
6. I can't wait for the Honeymoon!
Yup this is where we are going!

So excited!

7. As you can see our honeymoon is going to be AMAZING!

I will leave you with that note and the lovely pictures :)

Made in 'Merica

The past couple of weeks have been kind of crazy
We got a dog then gave her away
As a teacher I have to take a test called the CBASE, turns out I didn't pass one section even though my councilor said I did....so I have to take it again. (and I am out of $60)
I did get to see all of my bridesmaids this past weekend which was amazing and so much fun! and we found their dresses for the wedding!
Britt, Kena, Jess, Becky and Me
Turns out Mr. Hobbs got the crappy shift at T-Mobile for a while....1 PM- 12:30 AM
So I will hardly get to see him our first four months of marriage....I cried!

On a better note two nights ago me and Mr. Hobbs created a game where we each say something that was made in " 'Merica" (America)
It has been a cute little game that we have played for the past two days back and forth and to me this game represents a growing experience where me and him connect on something that no one else can, we are more and more conferrable with each other.

Thursday is Valentines Day and also a very important day for me and Mr.Hobbs.
it will be 100 days till the wedding!!!!!
I can't even believe it is coming so fast!
I can't wait :)

Much love
