# 19 Part 2

Questions 11-20 for more info check out my page
101 things to do in 1001 days # 19

  • You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do?
    • I try to talk good about that person they are criticizing and let them know how good that person is.
  • If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
    • Never give up on your dreams or imagination. Life is to short, have some fun.
  • Would you break the law to save a loved one?
    • Yes.
  • Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
    • No, I don't believe so
  • What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
    • Shoot guns. I am right handed but my left eye is dominate which makes it really hard to shoot straight so I have been practicing using both eyes to shoot.
  • How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
    • Everyone has a different definition of Happy.
  • What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back?
    • Travel to Europe. I don't have the money or the time to do it.
  • Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
    • Yes, but I had thought I had let go of it but it haunts me.
  • If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
    • I would move to some small town in Europe where you have to get fresh food everyday and walk everywhere. My husband would come with me :)
  • Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
    • Funny question, usually I don't because other people are in the elevator with me but I probably would do that and think that it would make the elevator go faster.

Oh Monday...

Not sure whether I like this day or not. Mondays at my work aren't to busy which is really good but man I am always so tired on Mondays.
This morning I woke up a little early and actually had time to read my Bible
Philippians 4:13
and make breakfast!
Sausage Cheese Balls
and Banana Bread with OJ
Super yummy :)

I get to work and make some Mint tea with Honey (my new fav!)
and now I am just chillin.

Welcome Monday

#26 Book 1 Completed!

Number 26 on my list is to read all of the Anne of Green Gable books.
This is a goal of mine because I feel like Anne and I are kindred spirits in a way.
We both have red hair and great ambitions.
Book one was all about Anne growing up at Green Gables and heading off to college.
It was great, I laughed and almost cried ( I didn't because I was at work)
and envied the time period this book was written in.
One day I want to go to Prince Edward Island in Canada just to see if it is like the book.
The movie is also super amazing, here is a picture of Anne from the movie ...

#19 Part 1

For those of you who have no idea what the title of this post means...
I am doing a project called 101 things to do in 1001 days! (Check out my other page that includes all the 101 things)
Number 19 is to finish these 50 questions that will free your mind.
so today I am deciding to do questions 1-10.

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
    1. I would be 25,  I have not reached that age yet in real life but I feel like that would be a good age.
  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
    1. Never trying, if you never try than you could miss out on something really exciting!
  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
    1. I believe that some people get to caught up in everyday life and forget that life is so short. We do the things we don't like because of society. There are things that we have to do, like work, because if we didn't we could not make it in this world. We like the things we don't do because it gives  us something to look forward to or dream about.
  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
    1. Yes, I believe that with our society today it is so easy to say something and not do anything about it. Some people want to change the world but they do not do anything about it, they sit at home and watch tv.
  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
    1. Society. The media. What people see as "perfect". Our society is mean and always in a hurry. I think people need to be more kind and help others out and take a minute to slow down and enjoy life. The media is always so negative! Report some good deeds already! People today see the model as a woman with a "perfect" figure or style. This is ridiculous. I think you find out who you want to be on the inside and when you find that you should be happy with who you are.
  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
    1. Teaching, I want to be a teacher and I think learning would make me rich.
  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
    1. I think I am doing what I believe in. I am a Christ follower and going to school to be a teacher. This is what I believe in myself and what I should be doing.
    2. I also think in some ways I am settling. I know I am called to be in the ministry some how but I don't know where.
  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
    1. Yes, I would take more chances and be more daring. I would find love and marry and have children.
  9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
    1. I think in some ways I have a lot of control. I can choose to go to school or not work. but in other ways I have been raised to never quit and to get a good education so I can make money for my family.
  10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
    1. This is a good question. I say that I am usually more worried about doing this the right way. Although I think I should be more worried about doing the right thing as much as possible.
Questions 1-10 answered!
More to come

God is so Good!

The hubby and I decided to get our budget in order the other day.
After we figured it all out I got very discouraged.
We don't have very much money left over to safe or have fun trips :(
so I got discouraged and the hubs came over and we prayed about it.
Turns out I have summer classes to pay for among other things such as rent and utilities.
Today I went to the school to pay off some of the money and the full amount is due next week.
We do not have the full amount.
I thought my classes would be dropped if I did not get my classes payed in full by next Thursday.
Turns out my classes won't be dropped if we don't get the full amount in!!!

Second awesome thing that happened today is that I got a raise!
We will now have more money to Tithe first and then to pay our bills!
Lessons Learned: Trust God even when you are discouraged and stressed because he will find a way to provide!

Thank you God :)

Love Mrs. Hobbs!

Springfield Cardinals

Chris Carpenter
a famous pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals
came to Springfield last night to pitch for a game here.
There were over 8,000 tickets sold to see him.
This is really cool.....
except I had to work one of the concession stands.
It was crazy!
I did not sit from 6 pm till 11:30 pm last night.
I am so tired I can't even think straight!
It would have been really cool if I could have seen some of the game but
we were so busy I didn't even get to see any of it. :(

It was one crazy evening

101 Things to do in 1001 Days

Hey everyone!
I was bored the other day and came upon a pin on Pinterest and it led me to someones blog and they were doing a challenge called...
101 Things to do in 1001 Days
I thought is looked really interesting so I took a few days and researched what other people were doing and I decided I wanted to follow the crowd on this one.
You have 1001 days about 2.75 years.. to do 101 things that you want to do.
They have to be practical and something that you can do.
I am continuing to work on my list but I added a new page on the blog that includes my list!
So head on over to my new page and if you have any ideas leave me a comment.

much love,

Major Test

I was so excited today to find out that I have passed my CBase test! There were four sections, Math, Science, Social Studies, English (reading & writing). I had not passed my writing portion and this last time I took the test I finally passed it!!!!!!!! My mom told me as she looked at my mail (I got married and moved and haven't changed all my address stuff yet) But I am so excited that I passed!
I would like to thank Jesus and my husband for his support!
I am ready to start getting organized. The hubs and I started working on our spare room yesterday which I am so excited to get clean!
Other than that not much is going on the Hobbs household.

much love

I love my family so much, yesterday the (4th) the Hubs and I went to my family's house in Willard.
They live in the country and so we got to see tons and tons of fireworks even though we did not shoot off very many. We ate and talked and had a great time.
I can't wait till next 4th of July!
