Kiel and I In Ireland

So here is a few pictures of just Kiel and I in Ireland. I will start posting more about the trip but here is a sneak peek!
We just arrived in Ireland at 8 am Ireland time which is 2 am American time

Guinness Factory where I had my first ever Pint of Guinness

(look at my smile...geesh lol) Here we are taking a ferry over to the On the Rocks B&B in Greencastle Ireland

Here we are at a castle with a river that runs in front of it (one of the best places for scenery)

In the castle gardens

And here is the castle! It may look really really old but it was built in the late 1800's

at a local beach (no tourists!!!!) it was so beautiful!

Cliffs of Moher (and apparently I really like my scarf lol) This place was breath taking!

Stick around for more picts and stories!

One Year Anniversary

Monday we celebrated our one year anniversary by driving home from Illinois. We got back from Ireland on Sunday and came home Monday and I am so grateful for a husband who drives 5 out of the 8 hours home.
I am grateful for a strong husband who never lets me down

I am grateful for sexy kisses that still knock me off of my feet

I am grateful for cake in the face and all the laughs that have followed

I am grateful for romantic nights even if it just involves pizza and The Hobbit

One year goes so fast, don't forget to take advantage of every moment and be grateful!

What I Packed

Here is a few things that I have packed for our trip. We are leaving today to head to Kiel's family in Chicago and then on Saturday we are off to Ireland! I can't believe it is finally here!
Here are my clothes all rolled up! They all fit into a carry on bag that weights less than 50 pounds.
Here is my purse/bag that I am taking with all my stuff I need for the plane and the trip.  I got this purse at Wal-Mart about a year or so ago. Pretty cheap and lots of pockets!
Here is the stuff in my carry on purse/bag. I have my Ipod, camera, Band Aids, Face Wash pads (97 cents @ WalMart) Pens, Gum, Clorox wipes, Advil, Dramamine, Tums, mirror, Kleenex, glasses, crossword and a bag with clippers and a small thing of perfume.

I hope I have enough stuff :) I am so ready for this trip. School is over except for some summer classes. I got my placement for Student Teaching so I am super excited about that. I am ready to be done with school! I probably won't see you till I get back but be ready for some amazing pictures!

Have a great week friends!

  1. A letter to Aunt May who lives in Ireland who we will be meeting soon!
  2. Zeus, isn't he so cute! Today he went to the vet and then doggy day care. He loves people and other dogs.
  3. Lamberts Cafe...Home of the Thrown Rolls. LOOK IT UP! This place is just amazing and you get so much food. I literally was so stuffed I had a food baby.
  4. One outfit for Ireland! I have already been keeping tabs on the weather. Rainy and upper 50's so I am going to bring some sweaters and layer, layer, layer!
School is almost done and I am ready for a vacation. This weekend is about catching up on homework and getting it all done. So much to do and so little time!

Happy Friday :)

About two weeks ago I passed my Praxis (which is Missouri's state test to become a teacher) so I decided to go shopping :) I mean I did just pass a test to be what I have wanted to be since I was a kid. I went to the mall...and Old Navy...and got a super cute Jean Shirt! I want to take it to Ireland with me (yup under 20 days!) but I did not know what to wear it with. So I went to Pinterest :) Here are some ideas of outfits for my trip!

  1. I love the coral jeans and purple (or blue) top with jewelry. I need to work on wearing more jewelry.
  2. Casual T-shirt and scarf is a must for the trip!
  3. Jean shirt with lots of necklaces...I need to give it a try.
  4. I am not big on maxi skirts but I would give it a try with my jean shirt

I have one week of school left then finals. Ireland here I come!
