Thanksgiving Week!

Welcome new hair style! I love my bangs and apparently a lot of other people do also! #success

My man... not much else to say :)

OMLush! I got to visit Lush this weekend. I couldn't believe how awesome the store was. It was tiny and packed (because I went on Black Friday) but man it was so cool. I got 3 bath bombs, a face scrub and Yog Nog bath soap. My fav is the Yog Nog!

Zeus taking care of the class pet, watching over Mr. Fluffy.

My sister-in-law had this crazy idea to wrap my hubs and I in lights and take a picture. To be honest I love it, yeah it's cheesy but so much fun ;)

Sorry it's blurry :( but his hair and face was so perfect!

Can't survive an 8 hour trip without a puppy latte and a Grande Peppermint Mocha (with an extra pump of peppermint, of course!)

This week was long but not long enough, I can't believe I am going back to school tomorrow! But I am excited because Mr. Elf on the Shelf is coming to the classroom! Stay tuned :)

Old English Man: I believe that is what it was called, but man I can't wait to try this one. It has toffee on it! YUM

Cookies and Cream Oreo, I believe this actually has some peanut butter something in it as well.

Nutella donut with some extra parts of another donut on top

I sure do enjoy these yummy donuts! There is always so many choices and they change all the time. They are also open 24/7! Donuts at 3 am...sure! If you are ever in town you need to go check these guys out. My all time favorite would be the Maple Bacon. Do you have any specialty stores in your town? If so what are they? What is your favorite thing to order?

Sending blessings your way!

Whats Up?

What's up? Well lately it has been getting colder and colder! Which I love because it means I can pull out my scarves and sweaters.
I love the app Studio, there are so many cute designs and you can add text and all types of things!
The Hubs asked me to go get propane for the grill... I was not excited about it so I stopped and got a Starbucks! Because I mean what else would I get???  I then realized I had SO much red on!

I loved this candle from Bath and Body works! The Hubs liked it but not as much as I did. I had this burning in the bedroom almost every night. It didn't last long, I burned it so much!

The Hubs, I mean come on! How hipster does he look! He actually is the furthest thing from hipster but I am working on him... :) oh and my pretty doggy Zeus!

The mother in law and I made these! Don't they look delish!

I found this lovely calendar at B&N a few weeks ago, I love the scenery!

It's true, I love mugs! All kinds, shapes and sizes. I also really want a hedgehog... lol
I found these at Caribou Coffee! They also have a beautiful mug that is marble colored with a gold handle.

Here are a few Bloggers I found this week that I am enjoying :)

Check them out and Enjoy!

Elf on the Shelf in the Classroom

I am so excited that Christmas is almost here! This year, being my first in the classroom, I want to introduce Elf on the Shelf. I have had some trouble figuring out how to incorporate writing into the classroom. The month of December I am going to focus on writing letters...to Santa of course! and then writing about our elf! Pinterest is full of ideas and that is so great since this will be my first time having an elf in the classroom.

I love the idea of adding velcro and magnets to help your elf find new places to hang out. This lady has some great ideas and the directions are straight forward.

Lets be real, as a teacher we are very busy! Here are some ideas to tell the kids if your elf didn't move...more than likely you forgot to move him/her but the kids don't need to know that ;)

Elf names! Boys and Girls

Elf printable's and they are free :) !

How to introduce your Elf on the Shelf!
I loved this post, she has so many great ideas for the first few days that your Elf came to the classroom!

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to add your Elf to the classroom. There are so many ideas out there but I wanted to show you a few! Keep checking for updates on our Elf in December!

Update: The Real World is Here

The real world is here, we have moved from our apartments and are living with my parents. That is the good part, my parents are GREAT and the Hubs gets along with them swimmingly. We have also started looking at houses...that is the hard part; what loan works, the houses I like the Hubs does not like, the house it so old,  its to cookie cutter. There is so much that goes into this. We have looked at four houses and I am so discouraged. I feel overwhelmed and exhausted. To make myself feel better here is some house inspiration from Pinterest.

I have figured I like gray and white at the moment. I also like french doors and open spaces. What do you enjoy about houses? What sold you when you bought your house?
